In February 2014, MANU Atelier was launched by Beste and Merve Manastır, who are the daughters of one of Istanbul's oldest craftsmen and leather goods manufacturers. The sisters became business partners with the goal of showcasing their father's exceptional artistry and expertise in crafting handmade leather goods.

The brand's objective is to maintain its dedication to traditional methods while introducing its products to contemporary women of today by combining high-quality leather with genuine manual craftsmanship.
