CUSTO Barcelona

Custo Barcelona emerged in the 1980s in Barcelona, founded by brothers David and Custo Dalmau. Growing up, the Dalmau siblings had a passion for graphic design, and Custo pursued a career in architecture, considering it a creative field.

Their fashion journey began when Custo convinced his brother to embark on a two-year motorcycle trip around the United States and the world during the late 1970s. Upon returning to Spain, they started designing T-shirts by blending illustrations with unique sewing techniques that combined prints and silks, resulting in an original look that was unmatched anywhere in the world. The brand was initially called Custo of Barcelona, which later evolved into Custo Barcelona.

The Dalmau brothers were pioneers in printed T-shirts, starting with men's wear and achieving immediate success.
