Bally, established in Switzerland in 1851, is a longstanding luxury brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship and modern style. Originally a family-run ribbon factory, it transformed into a global brand in the 19th century. Bally continues to embrace its timeless traditions, emphasizing quality. Even their iconic shoes, like the men's formal Scribe, are still handcrafted in Switzerland using 240 artisanal techniques.
Since its inception in 2006, the Bally Foundation has supported the arts and environmental initiatives. They have built strong connections in Switzerland's art and social scenes, with a focus on ecological concerns. In late 2022, the foundation welcomed a new director, Vittoria Matarrese, from the Palais de Tokyo. Under her leadership, the foundation will unveil Villa Heleneum in spring 2023, a 700-square-meter venue dedicated to the arts.
