About The Designer

Alexander Wang founded his own label in 2005 when he was only 21 years old, and serves as the creative director for the brand. In 2016, he took on the roles of chief executive and chairman, replacing his sister-in-law and mother in the respective positions. However, he stepped down from his position as chief executive in October 2017 and Lisa Gersh was appointed to take his place. Apart from his own brand, Wang was also the creative director for Balenciaga from 2012 to 2015.
