1. Tell us about the occasion you attended.
I attended my best friend’s wedding and it was like stepping out of the page of a fairytale book. The location was Bendooley Estate at the Book Barn; think of English summer countryside meets the castle library from Beauty and The Beast. The warm candlelit room complementing the floral arrangements, highlighted just how luxe this celebration was. It was a day to celebrate love and being in love.
2. Why did you decide on this style for the occasion?
When I first spotted the dress online, I couldn’t look at another dress. It was the one. It was elegant, glamorous and edgy all rolled into one. It was perfect for a black tie wedding and ultimately suited my personality and my body shape where it hugged my waist in all the right places. The native Australian flora print was absolutely divine and it made accessorising easy as I didn’t need to, the dress did all the talking!
3. Why rent over buy?
Renting is new to me but I absolutely love what it’s all about. You have the chance to wear dresses you desire but would usually turn down due to the original price tag! Confession: The day I had to return the dress, I emailed begging to purchase! But I’m glad it’s only a hire, as this way, another lovely lady can experience the magic of this dress too!
