Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Jonah’s Restaurant, Whale Beach. It’s quite a milestone and I wanted to wear something really special to mark the occasion.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
Renting a dress was appealing because I could choose any dress from an array of dresses fit for the occasion and then simply return it via Express Post in the envelope provided the next day! It was also great to have my picture taken in this beautiful designer garment which I will treasure as a wonderful memory of our evening together.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I chose to wear this Grace and Blaze elegant dress because the sparkles caught my eye. It’s quite an ornate, timeless, beautifully hand crafted dress with sequins and beading but not over the top at all. I liked the above the knee length which didn’t make it super formal for a dinner date at a nice restaurant. This dress comes in a few different colour schemes and I chose the colour which I felt would best suit my olive complexion. Even so, the darker colours would be stunning too for a cocktail party. I also thought that the shape would flatter my hourglass figure.

I hadn’t heard of this new emerging designer before but now that I’m familiar with her designs I know where to look!
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
I have rented a dress from GlamCorner before and enjoyed the whole process. It saves time, money and effort and I enjoy a new look every time. This is why I would do it again and again!
