Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I decided to rent a designer dress from GC for my university graduation ceremony a couple of weeks ago. This graduation was very special to me and I really wanted to wear something that made me feel the same way. Like most women, my wardrobe is full of dresses that I have worn a couple of times at most. I just didn’t want to buy another dress and clog up my wardrobe anymore. I also wanted to try something a bit different to what I usually wear. I wanted something elegant and feminine, something that would make me look more mature.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I really wanted to wear a special dress for my graduation ceremony and I knew I wouldn’t get a lot of wears out of a designer dress if I purchased one for the event. I had rented dresses from GC in the past so renting was a very appealing option for me for this particular occasion.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I chose a dress from the label Paschudas, called the Clover Classic Midi. It is a very elegant dress, which is what I wanted for my graduation ceremony. I love the frilly details at the bottom, especially because my gown covered most of the dress and it was nice to have the fishtail detail peek out from beneath the gown. I also liked that it was fitted around the waist because it sculpted my body and gave me some shape. I loved the flower print on the dress as well, it just gives off a very feminine and lady-like vibe. Prior to renting this dress, I didn’t know much about the brand. I only considered the brand after browsing through the GC site for their range of midi dresses.

Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
I have rented a dress before. My first time renting was from GC at the start of last year and they are the only company I have ever trusted enough to rent with. This would probably be the fifth time I have rented from GC and I am still a very happy GC customer!
Tell us how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I was researching dress rental sites online because I wanted a designer dress for an upcoming function, and I was keen to try renting as a more affordable option to purchasing a designer dress that I would probably not have the opportunity to wear that often. It was around the holiday season and GC was offering a promotional discount, so I jumped at the offer and I have been hiring dresses from them ever since!
How was your overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
I love GC! I think they offer an incredible service for women! My experience with GC has always been positive. There are literally thousands of dresses available to rent, and you are bound to find something that fits your personality and size. It is so easy to rent from them! You pay online, they send it out a few days before your event (so you have time to try it or return it if it doesn’t work), and then you simply pop it in the express return satchel and drop it off in the mailbox the day after your event. All the dry cleaning is taken care of! I would definitely recommend GC to other women, you won’t be disappointed!
