Our gorgeous Sydney based customer Georgia recently attended a Summer party hosted on a yacht on the Sydney harbour and chose to hire our Ministry of Style ‘Lattice Lace Playsuit’ in Ivory. Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
Last weekend was my partner’s Christmas Summerparty aboard the brand new luxury super yacht, Ghost II. The yacht was absolutely incredible so I needed an equally incredible outfit!
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
This is the season for celebrations and with so many events, it’s hard to find the perfect outfit for each one in such short notice, this is where GlamCorner came in. By having the ability to choose from over 500+ dresses I was sure I could find an outfit for the event.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
In keeping with the nautical theme, I thought a white dress/playsuit would be perfect. I searched through the website for a cute outfit that would match and found a playsuit from The Ministry of Style. The Lattice Lace Playsuit in Ivory was the perfect choice for the day!
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
I have rented a dress once before but always preferred purchasing my outfits for each event. I never realised how seamless and easy it was to rent a dress online so I thought I would try it again. December and January is filled with birthdays/Christmas parties and special events and with so many events I was quickly running out of outfits and wardrobe space…
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I found GlamCorner through PR company, Sweaty Betty and also through social media. The amazing team at Sweaty Betty introduced me to GC and I’m so glad they did!
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
I found the process of GC to be seamless and simple! As I hadn’t ordered from the company before I wasn’t sure whether my outfit would be delivered on time due to a delay from another lady. The customer service team informed me of this as soon as they found out and offered alternatives or a change in size so I chose the size 6 which was available straight away. The size 6 fit me perfectly so it worked out for the best! Everyone I spoke to was very helpful so I will definitely be returning and recommending the brand!
