Meet Senior Designer for La Maison Talulah: Toni Dameglio. After graduating with Honours from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, at the age of 21, Toni started working for MIU MIU as a women’s wear designer and remained with the house for 8 years where she was given the opportunity to grow professionally. Toni relocated back to Australia in 2013 and worked for Collette Dinnigan for 1 year and is now the senior designer at La Maison Talulah. We caught up with the amazing designer to hear more about the label and her thoughts on current trends:

The TALULAH girl is dynamic – she expresses herself with colour. She is bold, she is sexy and she has something to say. Her wardrobe is only the start of the conversation.
Trends or Classics?
Talulah is inspired by glamorous vintage silhouettes, fabrics and trims combined with trend inspired shapes bringing together a sense of harmony between classic and modern.
What do you see trending at the moment?
Metallics are a big trend as well as trims and vintage inspired floral prints.

Mini dresses are definitely key right now, texture is also something we are seeing an amazing response to.
What is a wardrobe must-have?
The “In The Mix Mini Dress”, its versatile, easy to wear from day to night.
Any style tips for Autumn Racing?
We are loving cinched waists and dramatic hems, silhouettes that’s complement the figure. Let the dress be the statement piece, better worn back with subtle accessories.
Any lovely advice for our GlamCorner ladies?
Be effortless and let the dress speak for you.
Thanks for the style chat Toni – you are an amazing inspiration and role model to Australian fashion designers and fans of home-grown Aussie fashion.
