Meet Sally Spratt, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Sydney. Founding The Lust List, she illustrates beautiful fashion pieces that are on her want list. Here she shares her style influences and must-haves for the upcoming winter season:
Who or what is your biggest style influence?
A few of my style muses are: Talisa Sutton, Sara Donaldson, Amanda Shadforth and Christine Centenera. I love their classic, minimal and monochrome style.
Essentials in the Sally Spratt wardrobe?
A black or white silk Ellery top, Lee jeans, black pumps and my recreational studio ear cuffs.
Must-haves for the cooler season?
Thigh high suede boots, Daniel Avakian black blazer, slim silk neck scarf, Holly Ryan Gold Squiggle earrings, the Ellery Tenacity blazer in black and the Ellery valley curtain wide leg flare also in black.
How do you like to unwind after a long day?
I love to take the dog for a walk, go to the gym and catch up with friends for dinner and drinks or if it’s been a really busy day, get into my new favorite Netflix series – Suits.
Best kept fashion secret?
I don’t necessarily think it’s a secret, but fashion is cyclical. Invest in the right pieces as the trends will return - you just have to be patient.
