Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
My special occasion was my Year 12 Formal. I wanted to go for something 'statement' and something a little bit different than I have in the previous years and GlamCorner made this possible! Since the outfits that made a statement seemed to be very expensive and it almost seemed like I had no hope and had to go with a basic dress, my mum had recently followed GlamCorner on Instagram! I didn't really know how it worked at first but it turned out the be the perfect thing! Since the jumpuit was very out there and I wouldn't really have a chance to wear it again there was no point in buying it so I checked out GlamCorner and there it was! It made my night so much more special wearing something that I loved and that everyone commented on!
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
The fact that I wanted to go a little bit different for my formal, and that I probably wouldn't get a chance to wear something like this jumpsuit much, made it so much more appealing to me to be able to rent a beautiful designer outfit for a low price for my special night! In addition to that, the process of renting was super easy and gave me enough time to receive and send it back without stress!
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it as your school formal dress?
I chose the Carla Zampatti Titania jumpsuit because I thought it was edgy enough to be different but still complimented my body shape. I knew my exact size and GlamCorner happened to have it available, it was perfect!
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
I hadn't rented a dress at all before my formal! When I was in the process of looking for a formal dress I kept being tagged by multiple people on Instagram to the dresses on GlamCorner's page! I didn't think about it until I saw one that I really liked and explored their website - it was unbelievable! There were so many beautiful dresses from all these great local and international designers! From now on, renting dresses for me is the way to go!
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
As I've touched on, my mum is more Instagram savvy than me! She found GlamCorner's instagram and pushed me to go onto their page and their website and it was a match made in heaven! I told all my friends about it and they were in disbelief of how easy and economically friendly it was. And the range of occasions that Glam Corner caters for is unbelievable!
How was your overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
When asked at my formal where I got the dress from and the label I was wearing (which I was repeatedly) I wasn't hesitant in telling them that I rented it from GlamCorner and they were surprised at how they could have access to such great designers on a renting store! My overall experience was easy and quick! I did a 4-day rental and the dress arrived the day before it was scheduled too, which put my nerves at ease.
