Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I needed a dress for my year 12 graduation and it was the first really formal event that I’ve been too so I wanted something special and grown up to wear. I wanted a designer dress because it was a formal occasion and because they are all so different, something no one has ever seen before which really appealed to me.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
Doing year 12 I didn’t have much time on my hands to shop around and find a dress in stores, which is why I started to look online. The graduation was quite a big deal for me, something my friends and I talked about all year so I definitely wanted to rent a designer dress for this occasion
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
The dress I chose was the Thurley Bed of Roses dress in green. When I started looking online I was instantly drawn to the Thurley collection because of all their gorgeous lace pieces. It was a hard decision to choose what dress I liked the most but I really liked the idea of having a bright green dress because I wanted to stand out and this colour definitely did that.

Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
This was my first time renting a dress, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the process was really easy and that helped calm my nerves. I wanted a really nice dress but also couldn’t afford to buy a designer one so renting a dress was the best option for me. It’s a win win situation really, you get to wear a designer dress for an event and don’t have to pay the retail price.
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I just googled ‘rent a dress’ and there were many websites that I went through but I felt that GlamCorner was the most legit. Being able to hire a back up dress for an extra $15 and not having to get it dry cleaned yourself was definitely a huge selling point for me.
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
I would 100% recommend GlamCorner to other women. My overall experience was so great and extremely easy. I loved how I was able to purchase a back up dress, I was able to order my dress in two sizes so I had the option on the day. I also liked receiving emails about the location of my dress, when it had arrived to my house and to remind me to send the dress back to GlamCorner. I was very pleased with how simple it was to return the dress by having the return postal bag sent to me so all I had to do was put my garment in the postal bag and send it off.
Thanks Keely! We’re so happy we were able to make the perfect dress hire possible for your Year 12 Graduation. You looked incredible! We look forward to seeing you again soon xoxo
