Tell us about your graduation and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
After three long years I finally graduate from university! Graduating from university has always been a goal of mine and was a very special moment for my family and friends to witness. I wanted to reflect this special occasion with a beautiful designer dress – without the cost.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I’m the type who buys something for a special occasion, but never wear it again. So renting seemed to be the most appropriate option. I knew that the photos taken throughout the day would be passed around my family and placed on social media. I wanted my dress to reflect my accomplishments and choosing a gorgeous Alex Perry dress did not disappoint.
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
Simplicity! This was my first time and definitely not last! GC has such an easy rental process and any issues are promptly answered by their Customer Happiness team. The cost of buying a dress can sometimes be troublesome, but by renting I only paid $139 for a $700+ dress. This is also very attractive to someone like myself who is on a budget. The ability to try-on my dress before my rental date was another great idea and ensured my graduation day started without any wardrobe dramas.
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
Social media of course! I am an avid Instagram explorer in my spare time and came across GC's Instagram page when looking for a graduation dress. They have a very professional style to their posts which led me to visit their website. I like to dress more conservative and modest for my figure and age. GC has a wide range of styles that ticked all my boxes for a graduation dress– it was simply a matter of selecting a dress to try-on.
How was your overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
Overall my experience with GC was wonderful! Both my try-ons and actual dress rentals arrived promptly (a day before the rental started) and were in very good condition. I was immediately informed about when my package was being sent and a friendly reminder when it was due to be sent back. The coupons in the postal package was a pleasant surprise too. Customer service was also excellent; I live a bit rurally compared to my city counterparts and on weekends our post office is closed. I was told it would not be an issue and to return the rentals at my earliest convenience. I would 100% recommend GC to other women! I already plan on hiring another dress from my friend’s graduation in May and another for a wedding at the end of the year.
