Grace has hired from GlamCorner three times for three different occasions and for this special Sydney garden wedding that transitioned into a formal harbour side dinner, Grace chose to hire our stunning Bronx and Banco ‘Florence Midi Dress’ in vibrant Cherry as her beautiful wedding guest dress. Here she shares more about about her rental experience:
Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I hired this beautiful dress for a Sydney wedding, I went with a group of people that had already seen most of my wardrobe and I wanted to wear something new without the price tag. I’m glad that I did – I received lots and lots of compliments on the dress and felt perfectly dressed for the occasion.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I feel like weddings are the kind of event that you go to the upmost effort for. I personally don’t like wearing white or black to a wedding and so most of my formal wear wasn’t appropriate for the occasion. Also this was an afternoon garden wedding that went on to a more formal dinner meaning that the dress had to be both day and night appropriate. I felt like the dress I hired was perfect for a full day formal event.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I chose the gorgeous Florence Midi Dress by Bronx and Banco in Cherry. I absolutely love lace, I definitely have a feminine style and I think it suits every occasion. I chose this dress in particular because I knew that it would be universally flattering and guaranteed to be comfortable. It was actually my back-up dress – my first rental felt borderline too tight and I knew that I wouldn’t feel relaxed wearing it all afternoon.

Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
This was my third rental (all from GlamCorner). I used to buy two or three designer dresses every year to wear to my special events. I found that they sat mostly unworn in my wardrobe or I felt self-conscious re-wearing them to lots of events. This year when I received an influx of wedding invitations and races events I decided to try renting my dresses. I’ve saved lots of money and have a great variety choose from!
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I used to work on reception and one colleague always had beautiful dresses delivered (from GlamCorner). I looked at a few rental site options and decided on GlamCorner because they had the best range and most professional feel.
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
All of my rental experiences so far have been fantastic, the customer service is excellent and the dresses are always in impeccable condition. The option for a $15 back-up dress is great too, it alleviates the stress of hiring a dress you’ve never tried on. I will absolutely be recommending GlamCorner to my friends.
