Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I hired my dress for a University Law Ball, and I didn’t want to splash out for an expensive new dress, but wanted to look elegant ????
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I wanted to wear something new for the ball, which is quite a formal event, and I didn’t have time to go scope out my friends’ wardrobes or scour the shops for something nice that wouldn’t break the bank, so hiring a dress was a natural option!
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
The dress was a Grace + Hart dress, which was quite elegant and modest, yet sexy at the same time with the cross over strappy back. I’d never worn a dress from this designer, but it was well made and I loved the length.
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
This was my first time renting, and it was a very positive experience. Affordable and so easy, I’m sold!
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I heard about GlamCorner through an Instagram ad, and I found the website very easy to use. GC has a much larger and better collection of dresses, and different sizes of these dresses, than other dress hire websites.
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
Dealing with GC was so easy, and every interaction I had with GC was professional and lovely. I rented this dress and a backup dress (a great service by the way!), which was also beautiful and I nearly wore it, so I had removed the tag on the backup. I was worried I was going to be charged for wearing both, and emailed GC explaining I only wore one. They promptly responded that it was no worry, and I wouldn’t be charged. I will definitely recommend GC and have already, as I had a lot of friends comment on my dress. Both dresses were very high quality and like new, and it was so easy to send the dresses back in the prepaid envelope without worrying about dry cleaning! I have another event coming up and am sure to scope out GC’s collection!!
