Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
The Wagga Wagga Gold Cup Race meeting is a much anticipated event locally. They always have a massive crowd and the fashions are well worth a look. I wanted to really make an effort to look great this year and honestly I went straight to the GC website to find my perfect dress. I had four children in 5 years and I'm coming out of a fog of body changes and baby-friendly socialising! So these days I make sure I wear something amazing at every chance I get. Life is too short for wardrobe restrictions!What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
When I hire a dress, I definitely find myself being more adventurous with my style than when I purchase. The Races are certainly one event where you can really experiment with fashion and I love having the option to wear something really different without the worry of 'buyers remorse' after the event! I also knew I would be seeing A LOT of people I hadn't seen for a while and I just really wanted to feel great and look amazing.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I wore the Asilio A Love Like That dress in white which had really grabbed my eye as the length was just beautiful and the style had the classic modesty I prefer at a daytime event, I really loved the neckline. I had also decided I wanted to wear white to these races, I tend to wear a lot of black. The fit was ideal, I'm a straight 12 and I was perfectly comfortable in this dress. The fabric of the outer dress was simply stunning and sat beautifully. Honestly, complete strangers complimented me all day, there was nothing else like this dress at the Races that day!
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
I have now been dressed by GlamCorner on six different occasions, for this and other Race Meetings to weddings and black tie dinners.

I was searching hire gowns and discovered GlamCorner. I first hired a beautiful Badgley Mishka gown and I was hooked! Ill never forget opening that box... I've worn Camilla, Wheels & DollBaby, Langhem and Asilio.
How was your overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
Working with GlamCorner to outfit yourself for any event is just so easy. I am based rurally and being isolated doesn't stop me from having something really amazing to wear whenever I want. The process is simple, my chosen dress or dresses always arrive early, returns are an absolute breeze, and unwrapping something gorgeous from lovely crinkly tissue paper in a beautiful box, immaculate and ready to wear is an experience every girl would love. On the odd occasion that I've needed to call, the Customer Happiness staff are so helpful and nice, I really can't fault any part of this service. I tell anyone who will listen about GlamCorner!
