Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
It was my Awards Night at work in Brisbane, and the biggest talk in the office for the months leading up to it was what everyone was going to wear!
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I knew that photos would be planted all over work and be sent out to all of our offices across Australia, and so I wanted to know I was looking my best! Also I knew that for that very reason, I would never wear the dress again because everyone was going to see it!
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
The Awards night had a Black & White theme. What I loved so much about GlamCorner was that I could use the search/filter options to select just black and white dresses! I also decided I wanted to wear floor length. You would think that narrows it down heaps, but there was still heaps of dresses to choose from with these selection options! So then I used the ‘body type’ option to choose an option that would suit my ‘pear shaped’ body! The George ‘Gael Gown’ stood out to me straight away. I also decided to get a back up dress which was the dress I liked the second best, but fortunately I did not even have to bother trying it on as I loved the way this one fit as soon as I slipped into it!

Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
I have rented dresses before, for special events when I know I will be photographed a lot (like when I was on The Bachelor TV show and attending VIP events) . I know that I won’t ever want to wear a dress that has been all over Social Media or magazines again so there is no point spending hundreds of dollars on buying one. I have definitely found GC to have the best selection, be the most professional, and the easiest service so far and will always be using GlamCorner from now on!
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I went to find an appropriate dress at my usual dress hire place and was disappointed in their range, I didn’t want to wear just another black dress, I wanted something that I knew was going to suit me perfectly. I also had very little time because as always I left it pretty much to the last minute! So I googled ‘evening dress hire in Brisbane’ and GlamCorner came up in my browser!
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
The only thing about GlamCorner is that I wish I had found out about it sooner!
