Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
The special occasion I had was my boyfriend’s beautiful sister Ashley’s Hens Night in Geelong! It was an amazing afternoon into the night affair filled with lots of fun, cocktails and food. The event had a black dress-code, so our gorgeous bride to be would stand out in her white dress. As a lover of designer dresses, I knew as soon as I got the invitation that I wanted to find something designer to wear! When I saw this Self Portrait number on GlamCorner it was just beautiful and the colour was perfect for the Hens.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I’m the kind of girl who loves to get something new to wear for every event I attend. And I have to admit, I’m also not the kind of girl who will wear a dress more than once. And as a graduate teacher, there’s no way I can afford to buy beautiful designer dresses every few months, so renting is so perfect for me! It’s so easy to do and there is a humongous variety of dresses to suit every occasion. It really has become my go-to thing to do ????
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I chose the ‘A Line Lace Up Dress’ by Self Portrait because it was so flirty and gorgeous! It would also suit a day into the night event just perfectly. I had seen a lot of the Self Portrait collections on Instagram and when I found this one I just fell in love, I knew it would be perfect for the Hens.

Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
I have rented designer dresses before from a local girl in Geelong who rents out some of her own amazing dresses so I was pretty used to the process. This was my first time with GlamCorner though and I must say I was very, very happy with the whole experience! I’m sure I’ll be a returning customer from now on.
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I first discovered GlamCorner a few months ago when I was on the search for a company that could provide me with my fix for renting beautiful designer dresses. The variety of dresses GlamCorner had just blew me away, and I ultimately spent hours searching through the collection until I stumbled across my magnificent dress!
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
I was so, so happy with my experience with GlamCorner. I received the dress a day earlier than expected and it was just so stunning! It came beautifully packaged and contained everything I needed for an easy return. I have recommended them to many of my family members and friends in Geelong already because it was such a great experience and so exciting to receive such a lovely presented package.
