Bridal shower's are such a fun time to dress up nice and celebrate the recent engagement of one of your friends or family! In this post our lovely customer Tarryn shares with us how, as the maid of honour, she hired our beautiful Alice McCall Wanderlust dress in Powder Blue for her best friend's 'pastel-themed' bridal shower:
Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
My special occasion was my sister-in-law's 'pastel-themed' bridal shower. It was an amazing afternoon filled with lots of Champagne popsicles and little tea cakes. What more could a bride-to-be ask for? I wanted to wear the Alice McCall Wanderlust dress as it was just so beautiful and with the lace detail it made it look so delicate. The colour was also just perfect for the event. It was so comfortable to wear and I felt amazing in it.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
Well, I love having a new dress for events, and I rarely wear the same dress twice. I am a full time student and can't really afford to buy a new dress every few weeks, so renting an amazing dress is a go to for me. It's quick and so easy to do - I sometimes rent a dress during my lectures, it is that easy! LOL.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I chose an Alice McCall dress as it was so beautiful. I had seen it on Instagram and knew it was prefect for my event.
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
No, I am a returning customer to GlamCorner for years and I love the whole concept!
Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I first discovered GlamCorner a few years ago when I rented the most amazing Alex Perry dress for an engagement party. I rented it a few months in advance as I was so excited they had this magnificent dress. The quality of the dress looked like it had never been worn and I received so many compliments that evening.
How was your overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
I love GlamCorner, I have been a returning customer for years and I have recommended them to many of my family members and friends because I can always rely on the dress coming in time and always being of great quality. I love the packaging and it makes the whole experience of renting a dress so exciting.
