Tell us about your Christmas Brunch and why you chose to wear a designer dress for it?
Our girls Christmas lunch was at the beautiful Banksii Restaurant at Barangaroo. The water view is just stunning and the food was amazing!! So naturally we had to match this beautiful surrounds with some cute dresses and this is why I chose to wear a designer dress, along with setting up the table super special too. My go-to florist created a beautiful table centrepiece that included my favourite flowers- peonies, roses, hydrangeas, and phalaepnosis orchids! I also brought our own napkins for an extra cute touch, and created some hand-made, personalised bonbons for my friends – it was so much fun, popping the bonbons, eating all the sweet treats, and letting the confetti go everywhere =) We also played Kris Kringle that slowly but surely turned into Dirty Santa! It was such a gorgeous Summer day.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
For this particular occasion, I wanted something WOW without the price tag. It had to be super special but I knew I didn’t want to purchase it as I just know myself – I probably won’t wear it again! Renting the dress was the perfect solution, with the added bonus of not having to dry clean or anything like that afterwards.
What made you choose this play suit and Designer? Have you ever purchased from this designer before?
I have been eyeing out this playsuit and I was so stoked when I saw it on GlamCorner! It was so fun and festive yet dressy but not too dressy for the lunch! The colours are just amazing and I love how the silver just pops against the blue. It was just perfect! Yes I definitely have purchased from Alice McCall aplenty =) she is one of my favourite Australian designers <3
Was this your first time renting a dress? If so, what made you consider it?
No it wasn’t! I have rented quite a few times now, and each and every single time was with you guys!!
How did you come across GlamCorner?
I came across GlamCorner on Instagram about a year ago now, after seeing Roxy Jacenko mentioning you guys on one of her posts! Been following and renting ever since =)
