Tell us about the occasion and why you chose to wear a designer dress for it?
We were celebrating my best friend’s wedding in the beautiful hinterland of Tweed Heads at Summergrove estate. We needed something that was both sophisticated and practical for 5 different girls of different body shapes. We all loved the idea of wearing a designer brand, so when we found something that looked perfect on each of us individually it really was such a relief.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you? Everyone knows that although you’d like to think you will, you never really wear a bridesmaid dress twice, so it couldn’t have worked out better to wear an amazing designer gown, and just send it back when the event is done, not feeling bad about it just sitting in your wardrobe. Renting your outfits also creates an incredibly sustainable future for the fashion industry by reducing consumerism and waste as opposed to buying an outfit, wearing it once and then never again. That was the best part.
What made you choose this dress and Designer? Have you ever purchased from this designer before?
I haven’t purchased from Grace and Hart before, however, this definitely won’t be the last time. The whole collection had me from the beginning. Their perfect balance between feminine and classic styles finished with modern touches made it the perfect option for a classic and contemporary spring wedding.

Was this your first time renting a dress? If so, what made you consider it?
It was my first time. My best friend hires her outfits regularly whenever we go to the races or have an important event, so I’m actually quite surprised I didn’t check it out earlier. To be honest, the whole idea of renting an outfit had me a little concerned at the start but Glam Corner did all the hard work, no request was too much trouble. This took so much pressure off an already stressful time, so you’d be crazy not to give it a try.
How did you come across GlamCorner?
Last year we went to the spring races and four of out of six of us girls had hired their dresses from Glam Corner. They all looked amazing but most of all they looked different. (There are so many great options) I saw how easy it was first hand and after that weekend they had me convinced.
Did you enjoy your overall experience from beginning to end with GlamCorner? Would you recommend us to other women?
Yes, I did enjoy my experience. I can already tell just from being a customer, that the whole process has been really well thought out. When you call with any questions, within a few moments of being on the phone they already have your order up on their screens just by searching your phone number and know exactly how to help you. Its small things like this that make the experience so much easier. I didn’t have to go searching through my emails looking for order numbers etc. Every time I called it would be sorted out effortlessly. I would definitely recommend – and already have! We had so many people asking about our dresses on the day.
