Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I really wanted a beautiful fitted dress for my baby shower. I had seen the all too often white dress preference used for mama’s to be and wanted to do something special, to tie in with my babes nursery theme (which became the colour options for the baby shower dress code). When I found a lace mint fitted dress by Lover, I was simply in Love.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I was 32 weeks pregnant and I needed a dress that was stunning and bump friendly without the usual price tag that I would spend on special occasions. This is where renting a dress and simply searching under ‘bump friendly’ made my job so easy! I saved so much time which meant I could then focus on putting together the most fun and visually stunning baby shower for my guests.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label your chose, and why you chose it?
I rented a fitted, lace Lover dress because it was a beautiful high end style which suited the nursery decor for my baby shower. It was elegant, bump friendly and comfortable to wear.
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
I had rented before previously. I did it again this time because being pregnant I didn’t want to invest in something forever, but still wanted to look stylish and beautiful.
