1. Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I wanted to wear something really special for my 50th Birthday Dinner Party. I had been planning it for some time right down to the last detail but I wasn’t sure what I’d end up wearing. It’s not every day you get to wear a designer dress. I wanted to take this opportunity to look and feel my very best.
2. What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
The appeal of renting a dress came about after 3 days of shopping in suburban and then city department stores. It was proving to be exhausting and finding a dress that was beautiful, affordable, the right style for my shape and the right colour to suit my complexion was proving to be more difficult than I had anticipated. Sure there were several designer dresses that caught my eye but the price tag was way beyond my budget.
3. Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
There were so many amazing dresses to choose from on the GlamCorner website and I had so much fun scrolling through the different designers. I wasn’t quite sure about sizing and fit so I decided to opt for the try on service and ordered 2 dresses. Trying them on made me feel confident that I would choose the Sandro midi as it fit perfectly and stood out as a timeless, classic and elegant dress which was perfect for the occasion. I loved the detail on the bodice and the fitted skirt.

4. Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
I have never rented a dress before. This is my first time and won’t be my last. I decided to give it a go since it had worked for my daughter who had rented successfully from GlamCorner before.
5. Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
My daughter introduced GlamCorner to me. She had rented several dresses all of which were perfect for every occasion. We both decided to rent our dresses from GlamCorner. Once again, she looked beautiful in her Elliatt black dress.
6. How was your overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
My overall experience with GlamCorner has been 10/10! Staff have always been on hand via telephone or email to help answer any questions I might have. Nothing seemed too difficult even when I changed my mind a couple of times. The whole ordering process from start to finish is very easy and efficient. Beautifully packaged items arrive early with easy return instructions. I would definitely recommend GlamCorner to other women. Who wouldn’t want to wear a gorgeous designer dress for a special event at a fraction of the cost of buying an expensive dress? I have done so in the past, only to wear it once and have it sit in my wardrobe never to be worn again. I am very excited to choose a completely different look for my next event from GlamCorner’s endless wardrobe.
